The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth offers rigorous, fun, three-week summer day and residential programs at 11 U.S. locations. CTY has 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus activities like talent shows and dances. Year-round online courses are also enrolling. Join our engaging community of learners!
Read MoreBabysitter Training Camp is a free, three-day intensive program that has become one of the library's quickest-filling offerings. The June session runs Monday through Wednesday, June 8-10, and the July session runs Monday through Wednesday, July 6-8. Both sessions meet from 10 AM to 3 PM at The Loft Teen Center at Laman Library.
Beginner Sewing is an eight-week Thursday course running through June and July from 2 to 4 PM. Teens will learn hand stitching and machine sewing techniques and complete take-home mini projects. Only six spots are available.
Summer Art Club meets on Mondays at 2 PM throughout June and July, with a new hands-on project each week.
