Dust off your capes and lace up your boots! NLR Parks and Recreation is officially issuing a "Hero Call" for the 2026 Summer Activities Camp (SAPling). Designed for youth entering 1st through 8th grades in the fall of 2026. This SAPling program is more than a camp; it’s a training ground for the next generation of superstars.
With a mission to have the “Best Summer Ever”, SAPling 2026 offers three action-packed sessions and a specialized Mini-Skills week to keep young heroes engaged all summer long.
Camp sessions begin June 1st through July 31st.
Mini-Skills camps will be held August 3rd-7th.
Session I - June 1-19, $85
Session II - June 22-July 10, $80
Session III - July 13-31, $80
Camp Locations: Glenview Community Center, North Heights Community Center, Sherman Park Community Center, and Rose City Community Center for 6th-8th grade youth.
Cost: $225 for all 3 camp sessions if paid in full by May 22, 2026
*Does not include Mini Skills Camps, Aug 3-7, 2026 ($45)
Current NLRPR membership required. $15 for NLR Residents; $20 for Non-Residents. Multi-child discounts are available, and you must submit a report card for school grade verification by May 29th.
